Gregory Lyon, the owner and founder of Dragonfly Shimoda, has lived in Japan since 1997. He has spent countless hours on the coast of Shizuoka, soaking in breathtaking views and participating in ancient rituals of Japanese culture.
During his many years living in Japan, he developed a deep sense of peace and well-being, thanks to Japan’s tea traditions and majestic outdoors. His happiness with Shimoda’s beauty and Japan’s customs lead him to share these transformative experiences with others.
Gregory founded Dragonfly Shimoda with the goal of sharing this stunning land by specializing in authentic Japanese green teas and essential oils. Being such an integral part of Japanese culture, he felt these products could provide a small slice of his phenomenal experience on the coast and his time in Japan.
He wanted to ensure his customers were getting and experiencing a similar, authentic Japanese way of life. To achieve this, all products at Dragonfly Shimoda are carefully sourced, whether through forming relationships with Japanese farmers or using 100% pure essential oils harvested from the sacred woods of Japan, ensuring health, tranquility, and harmony.
